Last updated: July 14, 2026
Our Commitment
The Lifestrong Project is committed to making our website accessible to everyone, including people with disabilities. We aim to comply with WCAG 2.2 AA standards and continually improve the user experience for all visitors.
What We Do
- Provide keyboard navigation throughout the site
- Maintain visible focus states for interactive elements
- Use proper heading hierarchy for screen readers
- Include descriptive alt text for images
- Ensure sufficient color contrast across all sections
- Label all form fields with descriptive text
- Support reduced-motion preferences
- Provide transcript support for episodes
- Design accessible mobile menus with large tap targets
Audio and Video Content
Our audio players include accessible controls with text labels. We do not auto-play media with sound. Transcripts are provided for episodes where available, and we display a clear empty state when a transcript is not yet ready.
Ongoing Efforts
Accessibility is an ongoing process. We regularly review our site and work to address barriers as they are identified.
Contact Us
If you encounter an accessibility barrier or have suggestions, please contact us. We take accessibility feedback seriously and will work to resolve issues promptly.
